Berthable divan 

Starling Aerospace has developed a Berthable Divan (available as a single, double, triple or as required) certified for 9G and 16G aircraft. The divan is a high strength lightweight aluminium frame construction. It berths with a smooth manual motion converting the divan into a 91-inch-long by 35 inch wide flat bed.

Berthable Divan Single (club 2 configuration)

The Berthable Divan as a single (club 2 configuration) can be used in conjunction with the versatile Hilo Table to form a single flat bed. The Hilo Table can be manually adjusted to three height points so it can be conveniently stowed away under the Berthable Divan. This stylish seating solution and the Hilo Table can be styled and upholstered to suit a variety of aircraft interiors

Beds for Aircraft Interiors 

Starling Aerospace has developed a bed solution with optional features. The bed features a leather covered base, lap belt fabricated to completement selected leather, plated latches and seat belt buckle. 

Mechanical Features

  • Composite frame with side facing floor mounting provisions
  • Fixed bed 58” x 79”
  • Lap belt provided for in flight use for turbulence
  • Two stowage compartments under bed with painted inside surfaces
  • Ancra seat track fittings for mounting

 Feature Options

  • Mattress manufactured at 3 degree incline for flat level during flight using various aerospace graphite grade foams of varying densities in order to optimise comfort
  • Bed head upholstered in foam and leather

Certification basis

  • Not certified for use during TTOL. Lap-belt provided for use when turbulence occurs in flight
  • Completed units delivered with EASA Form 1 for the component
