Oliver Blackmore, Design Engineer of Starling Aerospace, gave a presentation at this year’s Cabin Refurbishment and Repair Conference on 13th June at Radisson Blu Edwardian, Heathrow.
This year’s conference provided Oliver Blackmore the opportunity to highlight the advantages of having all the services and facilities under one roof. The presentation focused on how Starling Aerospace successfully overhauled and refurbished 96 lie flat seats for Aeronexus’s refurbished VIP Boeing 767-300ER, in just six weeks.
“From testing all the electrics to the refurbishment of these lie flat seats, we were able to carry out every aspect of this project in-house which saved huge amounts of time. It is a great example of overhaul and refurbishment excellence and was hopefully of great interest to others at the conference” says Oliver Blackmore, Design Engineer of Starling Aerospace.
This is the third year, Air Transport Publications – home of industry leading publications MRO Management and Aircraft Cabin Management – have hosted the Cabin Refurbishment and RepairConference. The event featured a wide range of industry speakers, airline delegates and the opportunity to network with colleagues in the aviation business
