Starling Aerospace gives a sneak preview of its latest product at AIME 2019

Starling Aerospace (Stand number 100) is exhibiting at Aircraft Interiors Middle East (AIME), in Dubai, on 11th and 12th February 2019. At the show the leading aircraft interior specialist will be revealing the product upgrades which are planned for its latest generation VIP Track and Swivel Seat.

The next generation VIP Track and Swivel Seat from Starling Aerospace is lighter, more agile and offers an even smoother gliding and locking action. Visitors to the stand will be able to see moving graphics of the upgraded seat which tracks sideways, forward and backwards, including its new electric head rest, recline and leg rest.

This ingenious aircraft product which is certified for 9G and 16G, can turn 359° allowing passengers to interact with others without having to leave the comfort of their seat. The VIP Track and Swivel seat has been designed to lie flat at 179°and accommodate passengers over 6ft in height.

When it comes to styling and upholstery, customers are now being offered even more options as part of the seat’s upgrade. Starling Aerospace (carries EASA approvals for Design: UK21J.538, Manufacturing: UK21G.2581, and Repair & Overhaul: UK145.01249) has complete in-house manufacturing capabilities allowing for greater design flexibility and fast turnaround.

Starling Aerospace will be promoting these capabilities at AIME along with its new technology including: a super large Aqua Transfer tank which allows for large scale aircraft interior components to be covered in one dip, a 4 axis machining centre for aluminium seating components, a 5 axis CNC router for 3D composite structures and a Gerber automated CNC leather and fabric cutter.
