Starling Aerospace (Stand number A17) is exhibiting at Railtex 14th-16th May 2019, NEC Birmingham, to promote its rail cabin interior services.

Surrey-based Starling Aerospace has been a key supplier of soft goods to the European rail industry for almost 15 years. As a result of expansion in facilities and capabilities, a full turnkey solution is now being offered for rail cabin interiors. This includes a range of design and build services to support the refurbishment and overhaul of seating, tables, trolley carts and other rail cabin components.

Railtex will provide Starling Aerospace with the perfect platform to promote its in-house manufacture of tables, seat covers, carpet kits and rail cabin components. In-house capabilities including composite build, upholstery, trim and sewing, paint, aqua transfer printing, vacuum forming and burn testing will also be highlighted to visitors.

Recent investment in a new automated super large (1.2 metre x 3.4 metre) aqua transfer printing and rinse tank means Starling Aerospace can now print in one dip large-scale components. A new Five Axis CNC router has also been installed to enhance in-house composite production, as well as a Gerber automated CNC leather and fabric cutter to complement in-house seat refurbishment.

“Over the last 15 years Starling Aerospace has built its reputation within the aviation industry for its aircraft cabin interior solutions, but we have succesfully provided our services to the rail and marine industry. Railtex is an opportunity to spread the message that we have everything under one roof at our Leatherhead premises for rail cabin interiors,” explains Coralie Wigg, Commercial Director and Co-founder of Starling Aerospace.
